About the author:
Tom Schandy (born 1962) is an award-winning Norwegian nature photographer and author. His photos have won first prizes in two of the world’s biggest wildlife photography contests, the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year and German Glanzlichter, and twice his books are honored with WWF Sweden’s Pandabok Prize. Alone or with others he has published more than 20 books, and has written countless articles about animals and nature in magazines and newspapers. He is editor of the Nordic region’s largest nature photography magazine, Nature & Photo, and has been closely associated with WWF Norway for more than 25 years.
