Update: Take Action - System Maintenance on 6 April 2019

Flavio Martins

I want to make sure that you didn’t miss my most recent blog post on this topic, so I’m repeating a little here while providing some updates:

We’ll be performing system maintenance, necessitating a planned, controlled downtime of all certificate ordering, order checking and fulfillment services.

The maintenance and downtime are scheduled for 6 April 2019 from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM Pacific Time.

The maintenance will focus on moving key operations from our previous brands’ data center(s) to our ¶ºÒõ¹Ý data center.Ìý The move requires us to bring the services of those data centers down during the move.Ìý We will capitalize on the downtime by simultaneously upgrading software at multiple points in our infrastructure.Ìý The combination of these activities will improve performance and compliance while diminishing operational risk.

The downtime will prevent both your organization and ours from processing orders, checking orders or issuing/fulfilling certificates, across all brands and certificate types. We urge you to begin planning and readiness of your storefront and marketing now, such that you can minimize impact to your revenue generation and support operations.

During the downtime, our seal services and revocation validation services (CRL and OCSP) will continue to operate normally:Ìý current/existing certificates and our trusted seals will function without disruption from this move. We will also have processes in place during the downtime to handle emergency revocations.

As we move closer to the date, we will provide follow-up notification and further information via emails like this, plus also via our Partner Blog, newsletter and other means.Ìý However, throughout all of these communications, we expect to maintain the knowledgebase article below as the most up-to-date source of truth and details.Ìý We ask you to bookmark it and check back often.

As always, you can check the real-time status of our services at
